What do you love about summer?
What do you love about summer? Summer adventures full of hiking and time outdoors is how our family spends a lot of our time during the summer months. But one of my favorite things to do is catch up on reading. I always used this as a time to rejuvenate myself as an educator. I would often find a great read to focus on and plan how to implement the strategies the following school year.
We would like to offer the opportunity for you to participate in a web-based book club. All PLA educators are invited to read the book Shake Up Learning by Kasey Bell. This book is full of practical ideas to move learning from static to dynamic!
Here's How it Will Work~
- Sign up to participate
- Purchase the book~ Amazon offers it for under $25.00
- Link to purchase the book~ Shake Up Learning
- You will receive a schedule for how the reading of the book will be dispersed over the summer
- Participate by blogging and sharing ideas on the topic with other PLA educators and completing the culminating activity applicable to your classroom the last week of Summer Book Club
- You can earn 20 credit hours and a certificate at the end of the club for participating and blogging for the entire summer!

Looking forward to learning from this book. Amanda Rouse, PLA@103
